I’ll be standing right there with you. Resolute in my belief that we will win the “War Within the Womb” in America in this generation. Among the many tragic facts surrounding the American abortion holocaust, none disturbs me more than the fact that the majority of pro-life Americans do not believe they’ll live to see the day when it’s once again illegal to sacrifice our unborn children on the altar of convenience. “That would require a miracle,” they say. To which I say, “Yes and amen!”
Only a miracle from the hand of the Creator of all life can save our Great Nation from itself.
Only a revival, the likes of which has never been seen, will turn the cultural tide of death back to life in America. A revival which I believe is coming soon, the seeds having been planted within the hearts of America’s living victims of abortion.
Yes, I say “victims” because when the leaders of the most powerful, prosperous and principled government in the history of the world grant its citizenry the right to choose life or death for their offspring, their moral compasses can no longer find true north. Little wonder that “we the people” have lost our way. Little hope of ever finding it again unless we find our way back to the One who stands with loving arms wide open:
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
So please imagine with me, that fateful tipping point when America once again decides that a mother’s so-called right to choose will no longer trump her child’s right to live. Imagine, your great grandchildren talking around the dinner table one evening about you and where you stood on this issue--the defining issue of your generation. Like Justices White and Rehnquist, will you be counted among those who bravely stood on the life side of history OR will you be among the cowardly who said, “But we knew nothing about this….” (Proverbs 24:12)?
My fervent hope and prayer is that you will take your rightful place on the life side of history, thereby leaving a legacy of life for many generations to come.
In Business For Life, an Indiana based 501c3 non-profit corporation, helps businesses and business people take a winsomely positive stand for the sanctity of life within the markets they serve and the communities they live in. At its core, IBFL stands on the inarguable truth that America will be safer and stronger, more peaceful and prosperous, as adoptions increase and abortions decrease. If this makes as much sense to you as it does to us, we’d be honored to have you join the IBFL movement.
I hope you'll consider joining me in taking a winsomely positive stand for life. You can start by displaying the IBFL logo on your web sites and social media pages. Just link the logo back to the page you got it from and encourage others to do the same...starting now.
With that...another part of my book is now yours. If you've enjoyed these excerpts, I hope you'll consider sharing them with others and perhaps buying the book.
