By Christopher Mann for PumpJack Thought Leader Marketing blog A prospective client recently asked me, "Chris, I like what PumpJack is doing, but for me, I am more interested in a cafeteria approach. I know that I need to get out and speak more, but does that mean that I have to be listed on the PumpJack Speakers Bureau?"
Excellent question, and the answer is no. In fact, many clients do not want to be listed on the speakers bureau for the same reason as this man (I'll call him Sam). Sam is a sales representative and needs to get in front of people to talk not only about his product, but about larger issues facing his industry. He loves his job and the last thing he wants to do is inadvertantly telegraph to his employer that he's interested in changing careers. In Sam's case, PumpJack will simply serve as an outbound scheduling service. This way, Sam can focus on his daily work while we help market him to targeted venues around the world.
